The first problem required the candidate to answer eight multiple-choice questions that evaluated the individual's knowledge of general sales principles and the "selling cycle". This person scored 17 out of a possible 21 points.

Problem two presented the candidate with twenty common sales terms, which had to be matched to the appropriate definitions. This individual scored 14 out of 20 points.

The third problem presented the candidate with twenty words relevant to a salesperson communicating with a client. The goal was to evaluate vocabulary skills by having the person match each word to an appropriate synonym. This candidate scored 19 out of a maximum of 20 points.

Problem four contained fifteen true/false statements that evaluated the candidate's understanding of issues that affect the sales process. This person achieved 11 points out of a possible 15.

The fifth problem consisted of ten multiple-choice questions that evaluated the individual's responses to various "sales situations". This candidate scored 16 out of 20 points.

The last problem contained five questions that measured basic mathematical and calculation skills, as well as logic, attention to detail, and propensity to take risks. The candidate achieved 13 points out of a maximum of 15.

Recommendation

With an overall score of 81%, Ms. Logan strongly demonstrates the skills needed to succeed in a sales position.
