Procedural Ability: As an IT Manager, it is necessary to identify key activities, and to sequence them properly to ensure attainment of project goals. Planning: The last problem in the technical section provided the candidate with all the information necessary to create a basic PERT network. Pertinent questions relevant to project completion time, critical path, and "slack" were asked in order to evaluate the individual's ability to utilize a project plan. In this particular problem, the person scored 4 points out of a possible 14, which was below average.
