Standard Sessions are full-featured, in-depth evaluations that include 30 to 50 randomized questions drawn from the knowledgebase and broken into specific topics and categories, additional ad hoc questions, on-line interviewing access, and detailed reported customized to your needs.

QuickTests have approximately 20 basic-level questions on a single technology and count as 1/2 Standard Session.

License Renewal: Sessions can be used anytime during the one year term of the license. Unused sessions remaining at the end of the term can be carried over for another year by renewing your annual license with the purchase of at least 50% of the number of sessions in the expiring license.

Custom Assessments: Create your own private assessment from our library of questions. Choose up to 40 questions and use as a standard session. Requires an annual license of 100 sessions or higher. One time fee of $350 to set up.

REVIEWNET screening sessions & online challenge technologies address the technical knowledge and skills needed to perform in today's rapidly changing Information Technology (IT) landscape. REVIEWNET® solutions enhances online IT testing and quizzing by adding serious structured surveying, profiling, and self-assessments and then including remote, web interviewing options for skill and experiential verification as well as "cheat-proofing" the session.

REVIEWNET KnowledgeBase is continually updated by our expert team of authors, reviewers, and technical directors. We provide both pre-packaged and customized sessions. Packaged sessions have been constructed by our experts to accurately match to the typical job positions!  Our customers can also construct their own customized sessions to fine tune their candidate evaluations.  Questions can be chosen and combined or recombined for hybrid positions.  We can even be used by our customers to write and publish their own questions which can be combined with a REVIEWNET® question to make truly unique assessments.

Terms Defined

Qset is a term used to describe a pre-set combination of a technical skill assessment questions whose scenario based questions are constantly refreshed and updated by our expert-author network in our proprietary. Overall, when a ReviewNet Session is administered it can be done with a flexible combination of 1) customizable and structured survey, screening and interviewing type questions, 2) a Qset with a set # of technical skill assessment questions, and 3) back-end verification interviewing capabilities that occur online and on the phone at the same time.

Core Qset contains the best 10 questions to describe a specific Topic--which is...you guessed it...a Core Topic. Our SME's are being asked to give the 10 questions that they would ask on a given technology to assess competency of a candidate in that technology. We have Basic level questions in the Core Topic and depending on the age of the technology and our current coverage, we may develop intermediate Core Topic Qsets.

Core topic Qsets can be exploded into QuickTest by doubling the coverage of the same categories to 20 questions and changing the Core Topic to the Survey Topic.

Multiple Core Qsets can be combined into a single multi-topic Qset. Like QuickTests, these sessions count as .5 of a Standard Session for inventory deduction purposes.

Custom Qset Options (Recombination of Questions or Topics)--Recombine specific questions &/or whole topics to create and pre-set the perfect multi-disciplinary Qset (up to a limit of 50 questions for one Standard Qset or 20 questions for one QuickTest) for a specific technical job or position. Initial charge of $350 for each separate custom Qset that we pre-set. Must be an annual license holder at 100 sessions or above, upon which usage is drawn.14 day advance notice usually required. Additional expediting fees may apply if less than 14 days notice. Subject to a consultation with a ReviewNet Tech Director and scope and specification of work.

ReviewNet Session – each administration of any type of Qset (along with the other session components) to a specific candidate at one moment in time counts as a ReviewNet Session for inventory purposes.

ST = Standard Sessions are full featured, in-depth evaluations that include 30 to 50 randomized questions drawn from the KnowledgeBase and broken into specific subtopics, additional ad-hoc questions, on-line interviewing access, and detailed results reporting to fit your needs. Without time limits which companies can set up, standard sessions take approximately 45-90 minutes to complete depending on the skill level of a candidate, the level of question difficulty (e.g. basic vs. advanced), and the robustness of the discipline covered (e.g. Win NT vs. Oracle).

QT= Quick Sessions are fast pre-screens, have approx. 20 BASIC-only technical questions on a single technology, and provide only summary email results to quickly evaluate for resume inflation. There is no detailed breakdown. They take approx. 15 to 30 min. to complete. Quick Sessions and any 10-question or less custom created mini tech reviews count as .5 of a Standard Session for inventory deduction purposes.

What the ReviewNet System does

The ReviewNet System provides its clients with access to an Internet site on which job or promotion candidates can be tested interactively.

From this site, candidates can take a wide variety of knowledge tests in some sixty different programming language subjects. Each test explores multiple topics with questions developed by our team of technical specialists. Tests can be customized by adding, deleting, or supplying questions from the ReviewNet question database.
